Is your Website or Blog Mobile Friendly?
On the 21st April 2015 Google will be updating their popular search engine, and this will mean that websites and blogs that they class as ‘mobile friendly’ will rank higher up the search engine than those websites which they see as ‘unfriendly’ to mobile users.
Clearly this could have a huge impact on where you appear in terms of Google search results. If your competitors have mobile friendly websites this could mean that they instantly move above you despite all the efforts you have made in respect to SEO.
Here is the official statement from Google: “Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.”
